Do-able but it seems the artists begin to complete so its hard to sustain success without exclusivity at least in the area you are primarily working. Since pricing is important some understanding must be reached on price consistency. It is easy to start showing art from home so you begin to get part timers nibbling away at the market you have developed. Focusing on residential also limits your opportunities. Mush art is sold at a corporate level and to sustain yourself you might consider reaching out. Lastly, at some point, "Black Art" becomes inspiration rather than the object and becomes art in the widest sense.
