The Leading Voice for the Black Arts Community.
The melting pot is boiling over…
A.I.M. (American Identity Movement) is a bowl of artist subjectively creating works that identify America.
AIM is calling for thinkers who work and/or wish to work with other thinkers towards a better American community.
This forum will be our place of mtg. Every Tuseday (take A.I.M. Tuesdays) we will put together our manifesto. The manifesto will be complete by March 30th.
April 2012, those artists who are dedicated to the cause will begin to create works (maximum 3) for an exhibition to take place Feb 2013.
Those who want to join simply inbox me with the subject as “AIM”.
Also describe the type of work you create or will create for the movement.
NOTE:
Work or Works in theory (conceptual ideas) will be juried.
AIM is a personal creative expression based on one's personal experience.
!!Be strong and Courageous!!!
See you on the other side…
Peace

Thank you for that link, my Brother. It would be great if a city in every state across this country would make a special organized effort, through BAIA, to have an exhibition coordinated at the same time with the same theme "My Country" or "My America".

Thx Marcella Muhammad
So who else is down for this as our first exhibition?!
I have two venues in mind for here in GA.
If you guys start setting up venues in your state maybe this show can travel.
Peace
