Is anyone a member there? I moved here last summer and volunteer periodically but the membership is drastically low. Being that it is the only Black museum in Atlanta, it's kind of tragic.

 Just making sure Atlanta artists see this!

Peace!

My Dear Artist Friends :

I have joined forces with Gwendolyn Redfern and  the Redfern Collective to produce The Atlanta Summer Arts Festival.

Both Gwen and I want you to participate and be support of this venture which we plan to continue year after year here in Atlanta at Greenbriar Mall.

I have attached an application and have included the web site... www.theatlantasummerartsfestival.com

We already made the marquee at the Mall. ( I could not rotate the photo.)
We are working for hard to make this the best show ever and have included some new features I think you will like.

I look forward to exhibiting along with you during this successful event.  Please share this information with other artists.

Thanking you in advance for your consideration.

FYI...

Spring Festival on Ponce 2012;

DEADLINE: 3/10/2012
Jury Fee: $25.00
Event Dates: 4/14/2012 - 4/15/2012
The Spring Festival on Ponce is a two day outdoor local arts and crafts event held on April 14-15, 2012 at the Olmsted Parks along Ponce de Leon Ave., a main thoroughfare in metro Atlanta. This event was such a success in 2011 that we decided to do split it in two (one festival in spring, one festival in fall)! The festival supports the Olmsted Parks restoration and nearby Paideia School scholarship program. This celebration of community and tradition is located in the center of the historic affluent North Druid Hills neighborhood in Atlanta. Buyers strongly support mid-range arts and crafts. This event, hosted by AFFPS is organized by artists for artists.
