Its an honor to be selected as one of the artist who’s work will be exhibited at the Williamsburg Art and Historical Center Brooklyn, New York for their annually Spring Fling exhibition. The Black Creativity annual juried exhibition is one of the longest running events at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. The exhibition features over 100 works of art from artists around the globe, and I was awarded second place. The exhibition opens January 25th and continues through February 29th. when a child loses a parent they become aware of their mortality...when a parent loses a child they lose their immortality.... in times of loss it is easy to find yourself feeling alone and wanting to retreat from the world .... hopefully you will also realize today is a gift ..thats why its called the present ...so that we may prepare ourselves for the future...find the silver lining in your darkness and the light will begin to break through ...gradually...as the sun's light gradually increases from sunrise throughout the day ..... it may appear too bright to handle but as you become more adjusted the light will begin to reveal life's joys ..... may your sacrifices bring you happiness beyond measure...
