There are many artists in Black Art in America who love to create in a realistic style. This  group  was created so that images and ideas can be exchanged.  Additionally, debate and lively discussions can occur about the topics which we are most passionate about. This is a place where we can inform each other about events of particular interest to us. This group includes collectors  interested in Realism in Black Art. Lets make this happen!

Tyrone also supports a name change and a new direction. So far just a few members have responded, but each is in favor of changing our name and a new direction.

I like the name change but I love the ideas behind it.

So far there is a strong indication that the membership is in favor of this new direction so unless there is an objection today will be the last day for the name Realism in Black Art, and tomorrow will start the beginning of a new direction.

Excellent idea Mason, and something we will look at. There are several intellectuals in this group plus young and ambitious members with lots of business savvy. I will be reaching out to them.

Tyrone,

Excellent work!

Hey Edwin, I agree with Andrew the name change sounds good. As for the goals it may require a business structure for the group to achieve any of them, preferably a non-profit.

Tyrone, your images of Malcolm are really what it's all about to be a Black artist. You wake the Black community with images like this and stir the nation into reflection and contemplation on our struggle in America.

Thanks for responding Andrew, I have a great deal of respect for your opinion.

Edwin, the name change sounds good. Cultivating an environment for representational work I believe will elevate awareness and promote growth among us.

Tyrone, looks good.
