This Group is for all members of Black Art in America who create in a realistic style, and collectors with an interest in Realism in Black Art.
Our mission includes, but are not limited to the following long term objectives:
1) An annual juried group exhibition
2) A museum entitled: Museum of The African American Realist Society.
3) Academy style schools for realism
4) A salon style meeting room for intellection exchange of ideas
5) A Gallery specializing in Realism

There are many artists in Black Art in America who love to create in a realistic style. This group was created so that images and ideas can be exchanged. Additionally, debate and lively discussions can occur about the topics which we are most passionate about.This is a place where we can inform each other about events of particular interest to us. This group includes collectors interested in Realism in Black Art. Lets make this happen!
