House of Art said… Kara Walker's work is absolutely African American. My point was that she's not just viewed as a such, but is regarded more so for her genre of art.
I've known Marcus for a little over 9yrs and represented him for a period of time through my gallery. I have several of his original paintings, I started collecting Jansen's work very early on in his art career.
Congratulations, Jansen told me about the book project and that he was going to be one of the artists involved with the project. We should talk, I own House of Art in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn. You have an open invitation to visit the gallery and see some of Jansen's work in person.

I do not consider my books fine art books, however the quality is very good and cost effective. Lulu offers different quality of paper. I purchased a couple of books before I had my first book printed. I have been on the art festival circuit for years and when the economy when sour I began to offer books and it was not a bad decision.
