The Leading Voice for the Black Arts Community.
I travel daily with my digital camera. I never know where I might be in the great city I live in, NYC. Because I am a driver, I can be in the Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens or Manhattan all in one day.
Each borough has it's own flavor and energy.
I have been an artist all of my life. As a child, my great-grandmother, a painter and educated at Pratt in the late `1800's; taught how to draw a facial profile, how to draw lips. I have been drawing ever since.
When I attended college; I didn't know I was going to major in Fine Arts. But, I attended a liberal arts college. So, I had to take art appreciation, and art 101. I loved it. I took art102, painting, photography, print making.....
I was known as a collagist, but I ran out of space for materials and had to create.
Oila! digital art.
