Profile Information

I'm a self taught artist/crafter. I primarily at this time am creating in polymer and ceramic clays. My work is sometimes referred to as "soft sculptures", I believe some collectors feel more confident when acquiring my work with that title instead of calling them just dolls. I honestly think people should collect what appeals to them instead of collecting to impress the people around them.

I've been a creative individual all my life. When I was growing up I never had anyone around me telling me not to be creative,so when I was a kid I just ran with it. I want my work to express my unknown African past. I want my creations to allow those viewing it to see and feel something new and different. I taught myself how to sculpt. I was excepted into art school, but I didn't have the money to attend, but if you are meant to do something you just do it and you let nothing stop you. At times my work amazes people and sometimes it disgusts others and I am open to that. My creations have been in books and movies.
