Curtis R. Barnes at the Frye Museum Seattle

Today, I went to see the work and career of Seattle artist Curtis R. Barnes at the Frye Museum. For over five decades, he has worked as an artist, illustrator, muralist, and community advocate. In his sculpture, painting, and drawing, he employs imagery derived from his vast experience and heritage. This highly engaging and exhibition should be seen by everyone. The Frye is the first museum to celebrate Curtis Barnes life and work.  Closing Sept. 21See More
