Fact: You Need More Art Friends. So Go Find Some.
This week I want to introduce you to some of the Art Stars that have been kind enough to let me “gig” on their blogs during the 6x6 Summer Blog tour.

Now that I’ve introduced you to all these lovely artists. I want you to:
-Subscribe to their RSS feeds
-Sign up to their mailing lists
- Leave a comment on their blog (Play nice. Don’t be spammy.)
- Repost links to their blog posts on Facebook
-Re-tweet links to their site on Twitter
-Send them an e-mail and invite them to visit your website or blog
In other words— Go make friends.
You need more art friends! Frankly, I can’t live without mine: When I need new business cards, I ask them for referrals to designers. When I need to build a crate to ship a piece of work, I ask them what shipper and insurer they use. When I want to get the inside scoop on how a gallery treats their artists, I go to my artist friends and ask around.
Bottom line: Other artists are an endless resource and your greatest allies. They are the support system you need in order to keep both your art career and your spirit running strong.
So, get out on the playground and go make some new friends, kiddo.
