Joseph LOFTON on view/local school exhibit May 17th

Joseph LOFTON (b1923)
Jazz series
6th - 8th grade students from the Good Shepherd School were here in March. They had a lot of questions and were greatly inspired by Joseph Lofton's paintings. Several will be back tomorrow, May 17th at 3pm to exhibit their own paintings. Stop by!
Lofton uses a multi-layering collage technique in his paintings to add depth and texture.
At 94, the artist is still living in Mexico and has not shown his work in the U.S. since the  1990s.
