INDY Style__Walter 'Lobyn' Hamilton__REPRESENT: Celebrating Indiana's African American Artist

Vinyl artist Walter 'Lobyn' Hamilton, was a guest on the INDY Style morning television show. He is a participant in the current Indiana State Museum exhibition, "REPRESENT: Celebrating Indiana's African American Artist."

__REPRESENT presents work by African-Americans who have lived and worked in Indiana. From William Edouard Scott’s early French easel paintings to current artists who paint, photograph, sculpt and make textile, ceramic or collage artwork.

Local artist Walter Lobyn Hamilton uses old vinyl records to make his art! You'll be surprised by how he turn old records into iconic images. Curator Kisha Tandy, Indiana State Museum says Walter's work that of many other artist is available to enjoy now until July 15, 2012.
