Raising Kanan is an American television series created by Sascha Penn for the Starz network in 2021. Set in the 1990s, the crime series is the prequel and second spin-off to Power chronicling the early years of Kanan Stark, the character first played by executive producer Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson. In November 2023, Raising Kanan, which has run for three seasons, was greenlighted for a fourth.
Over the years, BAIA has had success placing numerous works of art in popular media, TV shows, and films including Chicago PD, New Amsterdam, and Steel Magnolias.
Team BAIA is excited to have the work of Mims and Dorsey featured on the highly-rated series, Raising Kanan.
